Acquisition Press Release
The Argyle Studio,
Edison, NJ, a full service creative marketing and awareness company,
and i-Position, a subsidiary of Argyle specializing in search engine
optimization, have been acquired by Single Throw, an Internet marketing
company with offices in Brick Township, New Jersey, and Milford, Connecticut.
The acquisition took place January 6, 2003.
Caryl Felicetta, President and founding partner of The Argyle Studio,
will serve as Single Throws Vice President of Operations.
To have all of our abilities in marketing, sales, and the
technology together in one company, Single Throw, creates a very
powerful group. We share the same philosophy and we have the same
methodologies so it should be a good fit for everyone, Felicetta
said.
Larry Bailin, President and CEO, and Jim Farrell, CFO, co-founded
Single Throw two years ago. Bailin says, “We are excited to have
added such knowledgeable and passionate people to the Single Throw
team. Our primary business is to increase sales for our customers
and we know that Caryl Felicetta and Marion Reinson will be instrumental
in accomplishing that goal. We will do great things together”.
Bailin and Farrell have created a measurable proprietary
process, called Progression Marketing™
that increases sales for businesses (both business to consumer
and business to business) by attracting imminent buyers with
purchase intent to a company’s website and engineering a process
that turns those visitors into long term clients. The growing
client list of Single Throw includes Scholastic, Hyperion
Technologies, Oxford Health Plans Inc, Select Energy, Conair,
Mag-Lite, Symbol Technologies, CWR Electronics, among others.

Caryl Felicetta
Caryl Felicetta, Metuchen, founded The Argyle Studio in 1986 to
provide clients with the same big agency ideas and talent
without the overhead, bureaucracy and impersonalization of a
large company. Felicetta’s expertise in system setup and
application usage, her design and illustration skills honed in
some of New Jersey’s top advertising agencies, and her

early adopters of digital imaging and animation, Argyle was
among the first in their area to add website development and
marketing as a service.
Through Argyle, Felicetta consulted on building and marketing
customer-centric websites along with developing promotional
materials and corporate identity for ad agencies and businesses.
She often speaks at business and technology meetings on website
development and Search Engine marketing. She also served on the
Small Business & Non-Profit panel at internet.com's Search
